THE TALK -Christopher Meloni Reveals How Goldie Hawn, Amy Schumer Comforted Him

Christopher Meloni shares a heartfelt story about losing his mom while filming the upcoming movie “Snatched,” and how co-stars Goldie Hawn and Amy Schumer offered their own unique styles of support. “We were shooting in Hawaii… I went back east and unfortunately my mother got ill … I had to leave her bedside, flew, by the time I landed, she passed. No one knew, except for the producers and the director… (I) do the whole day, we have one more shot to do… Goldie Hawn and I start talking… I said ‘… my mother passed,’ oh, she grabs me, she hugs me tight… I needed that moment… and then Amy, Amy, she goes, ‘Wait, what did you just say?’ I said, ‘Well, you know, my mother passed,’ she goes ‘Oh, that’s terrible, hold on one second.’ (while she fakes taking a phone call)… I knew she was joking… she needed to diffuse all that obvious emotion… later she goes, ‘You know I was kidding, right?’”
