Kendall Jenner Dethrones Gisele Bündchen and Becomes Highest-Paid Model in 2017
For the first time since 2002, Gisele Bundchen is not the world’s highest-earning model. Kendall Jenner has been crowned the world’s highest-paid model.
The 22-year-old supermodel and Keeping Up with the Kardashians star claimed the top spot for 2017 with earnings of $22 million, according to Forbes.
Jenner, who has deals with numerous top brands, including Adidas, Estée Lauder and La Perla, took over the title from fellow supermodel Gisele Bündchen, who has been the world’s top earning model since 2002. Bündchen, 37, came in the No. 2 spot for 2017, with earnings of $17.5 million.
Thanks to an Instagram account that lets her disseminate advertisements to 85 million followers, Jenner tallied a career-best total in the 12 months to June from favorable deals with Estée Lauder, La Perla and Adidas, among others. Paychecks from her family’s reality TV show, her Kendall + Kylie clothing line with her sister, Kylie Jenner, and numerous social media endorsements juice her modeling money.
