Theaters are reportedly prepping their systems for Star Wars: The Last Jedi tickets to go on-sale next Monday, following the new trailer release.
After a lengthy wait, Star Wars: Episode VIII is nearly upon us and with that will come even more coverage on the latest installment in the saga set in a galaxy far, far away. Audiences were left with several questions once Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens had wrapped up, and with almost the entire cast back for the sequel and Rian Johnson at the helm, the buzz around The Last Jedi continues to be positive.
Such positivity may only increase when the next official full-length trailer arrives. Following Mark Hamill’s tease of The Last Jedi‘s next trailer launch date, it now looks as though said preview will arrive even sooner than Hamill suggested. After the brand-new footage drops online, fans will be able to start picking up tickets for the movie’s actual screenings, according to the latest report on the matter.
Furious Fanboys editor Jeremy Conrad is reporting that both AMC and Regal Cinemas have begun prepping their systems so that tickets can be purchased for Star Wars: The Last Jedi starting at some point on Monday, October 9th. This has not yet been confirmed by Lucasfilm or Disney, so it is best to take this with a grain of salt for the time being. That said, it makes sense for Disney to release the trailer and have the announcement prepared at the end that tickets for the film are now available for purchasing.
